GiantLego builds custom homes, extensions and renovations for people who care about the detail. One team carries a project from the first drawings through to handover, so the drawings, the price and the programme answer to each other — and there is never a question about who owns a decision.

Most of a good build is decided before anyone picks up a tool.
Where the morning light lands, where the storage goes, which junction will be awkward to live with in five years — every one of those is easier and cheaper to settle on paper than on site. So that is where the time goes first: measuring the site, testing the plan against the way you actually use a house, and pricing what is drawn rather than a guess at it. By the time the slab goes down, the only surprises left are the ones nobody could have designed out.
Decide early, write it down, then build it.
You should never have to chase your builder for an answer.
One lead runs your project and is on site with the trades. Each week you get the same short note: what was finished, what is next, anything waiting on a decision from you, and where the costs stand against the contract.
Between those notes, ask anything. A straight answer is the whole job.
To build homes that still suit the people in them in twenty years — and to make the year it takes to get there a straightforward one.
Every project moves through the same four stages: an early conversation about the site, the scope and the budget; a design and pricing stage that ends in a scope you can sign; the build itself; and a handover with the drawings, certificates and warranties you will want years later.
The middle stage is the one that decides the rest. We price what is drawn, state the allowances plainly, and show you where the risk sits before you commit. If the numbers do not work, that is the moment to find out — not three months into a build.
Once we are on site the programme is open between us. You will know the current week, the next milestone, and anything that could move it.
The people who will be on your project — the ones who draw it, price it and run the site.
